What does a Guardian ad Litem do?
GAL volunteers advocate for their children ensuring their voice is heard and provide the eyes and ears to the court throughout the case in support of the child’s best interest, but they are so much more to the children they advocate for.
A GAL volunteer is the friend that is only a phone call away, they are mentors, they are teachers, and many time the only stable adult in the child’s life.
"All kids need is a little help, a little hope, and someone who believes in them." - Magic Johnson
